Autorickshaw driver and friend murder husband of woman he was having an affair with
Sub-Inspector Harish M R of the Kalasipalya police station, said, Venkatesh Murthy (40), who sustained multiple stab wounds and was bludgeoned to death with a boulder, knew his wife was having an extra-marital affair.

Murthy had reportedly tried to counsel Suguna (33), his wife of 15 years, to stop meeting the man who ultimately murdered him.
"Murthy pleaded with Suguna to stop seeing her paramour whose name is also Venkatesh.
