Time to skip the tacky food courts and patronise sophisticated diners at the malls near you. start with Buzz, we say
It hurts to eat in a food court. They're expensive, unorganised, lack imagination and their cooks roll out such bad food that it seems that they were thrown out of the cookery classes they enrolled in. But lately, things have changed for good, especially at malls that failed to click as shopping destinations.
For instance, the Metropolitan Mall in Saket never really attracted heavy footfalls until eateries and hangout joints like Manre, Ai and now Buzz opened their outlets. I don't know if you'll get the perfect pair of footwear here but your hunt for delicious nibbles will never meet a disappointing end. The hangover of our recent visit to Buzz hasn't vanished yet.
Everything special about it
The lounge hit the headlines when Imtiyaaz Ali shot here for his upcoming film Rockstar with Ranbir Kapoor. Now if filmmakers shoot at a place, the venue has to have something 'it' about it than just being a destination to relax, sip few drinks, move to the tunes of the DJ and escape the 'pressure cooker life' for a few hours. Buzz is 'usual' and 'different' in many ways. What sets it apart is the wise use of space, the suave wooden walls that are perfectly complimented by the techno orange lights, intelligently done ceiling and colourful chairs and sofas. In other eateries, the DJ sits in some remote corner, but here the spin-doctor's platform has been 'respectably' placed above the bar counter. From here, some of the best DJs of NCR churn out electrifying music. And the best part of being here is that the lounge owners don't try to pump club rules into your brains. They're fine till you don't harm.
