Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh addressed the second Indian Air Force Commanders` Conference of 2023 in the national capital, New Delhi, on Thursday, the Ministry of Defence said in a statement

Deliberations on national security challenges and ways to enhance India`s overall air power were discussed at the conference

Rajnath Singh on Tuesday culminated his two-day visit to Assam and Arunachal Pradesh. He interacted with Armed Forces personnel deployed in Assam`s Tezpur region during `Barakhana` organized Monday evening.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday paid tribute to the soldiers who lost their lives in the line of duty at Tawang War Memorial in Arunachal Pradesh and appreciated the soldiers for shouldering the responsibility of guarding the borders

Rajnath Singh appreciated the efforts of the soldiers in securing the borders of the country in sub-minus temperatures at an altitude of 15000 feet above sea level.

He asserted that there is no option but to bolster the country`s security apparatus, underlining that all efforts are being made by the Government to strengthen the nation`s military prowess through indigenous production of defence equipment.
