Tipu Sultan row: Shutdown observed in Karnataka

Following the Tipu Sultan row, a state wide shutdown was observed in Karnataka on Friday. The bandh called by the Bajrang Dal and the Vishwa Hindu Parishad was observed with full effect in Mangalore as the markets sported a deserted look.
