In a tragic incident, a Goods train collided with the Kanchenjunga Express near Rangapani Station in West Bengal on 17th of June causing severe damage. The impact was so intense that a wagon of the Kanchenjunga Express was left suspended in the air. Rangapani Station, under Siliguri subdivision in Darjeeling, became the site of this devastating accident. The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) promptly responded, mobilizing rescue operations.
