What ‘vrat’ did PM Modi do for pran pratishtha at Ayodhya Ram Mandir inauguration?

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on January 22 took part in the much-awaited consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla’s idol at Ayodhya Ram Mandir amid the chants of Vedic mantras. After the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony, on the appeal of Swami Govinda Dev Giri, PM Modi broke his 11-day fast which is performed as Anushthaan ritual for the consecration ceremony. Days before Ram Temple Consecration ceremony, PM Modi took a vow from Maharashtra’s Nashik to do Anushthaan for 11 days till Jan 22. After the conclusion of the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony of Ram Lalla’s idol at the grand Ayodhya Ram Mandir, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Chief Mohan Bhagwat on January 22 revealed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi underwent an even more stringent ‘Vrat’ than he was asked to do.
