I am finally convinced that the Covid-19 pandemic was little more than a scam perpetrated by the First World upon the rest of us. It took me much of the past year to arrive at this conclusion, but I am now convinced that I am right. I am also annoyed at myself for getting vaccinated, given that there was obviously nothing I needed to protect my body from to begin with. My family and friends are appalled by my conviction, but I know they will come around to seeing things from my point of view eventually. It was the government of India that finally opened my eyes to this harsh truth, by simply refusing to open its mouth.

I remember those early months of the year, when Indians across the country were supposedly on their hands and knees, begging for hospital beds and oxygen tanks. I remember the desperate requests on Twitter and Facebook, asking for anyone with the right kind of connections to help save their loved ones. I am now convinced the people making those requests were paid actors remunerated by the West to make us all look like fools in India.
