The Sunday sports special proved too good for India with Mahesh and Sania winning the mixed doubles title. Bhupathi, who led the team, won a Grand Slam doubles title after seven years.
Sania and Hesh won in straight sets to get their names inscribed on the Australian Open winning list.

Unfortunately, Bhupathi and Mark Knowles lost the men's doubles final.
Paes and his partner lost the semi-final clash without much fight. The golden arm of Yuki Bhambri brought the Australian Open junior title to India. He became the fourth Indian to win the junior title for India. Ramanathan Krishnan started with a bang in 1954 winning the junior Wimbledon title.
His son, Ramesh Krishnan, emulated his father by winning both Wimbledon and French Open in the year 1979.
Paes won both the Wimbledon and US open titles in the year 1990. Now, it is Bhambari's turn to win the Australian Open and make India proud.u00a0
