Lokpal in the House

Reports of the Rajya Sabha taking up the Lokpal Bill for discussion prompted a flurry of speculative tweets. In Kanchan Gupta's words: 'A repeat show is promised in the Rajya Sabha with Arun Jaitley leading the Opposition's charge. Two sad days in a row for the Congress.' Shishir Gupta added: 'Rajya Sabha is going to be very tricky for Manmohan Singh's Lokpal as the Congress does not have the numbers. Arun Jaitley is ready with firepower on his birthday.' Someone using the handle FrowningGlory made this observation: 'Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha have better actors than Bollywood.' And from our columnist Rohan Joshi: 'Lok Sabha = School. Rajya Sabha = Alumni Group. Lokpal = New statue on campus. Very shiny, but does nothing to improve quality of education.'

When do you get mad? People pondered that question for a while before listing these among other responses: 'When someone enters my room and doesn't close the door', 'when my sleep is interrupted by a missed call from a private number', when people don't know when to use their or there' and, interestingly, 'when people insult Harry Potter.'
