Right now all I can think of is the sad demise of my 17-year-old Pomeranian, Whisky. My mom was very close to him and treated him like her third child.

Whisky was my mom's prized possession. Now, she is all alone and I am thinking of buying her a dog. I am sure she will be surprised to have a new pet.

I am wondering what breed to buy her and when to gift her the dog.

I am sure that the new dog won't replace her emotions for Whisky, but it will surely please her. She can shower all her love and affection on the new pup. I am sure, my plan will work out and that her problem of loneliness will be solved.
