With two consecutive blasts in two days, My NEWS reader S Kumar says it's high time Pakistani leaders crack down on terror groups
It is extremely devastating to see that Pakistan has faced two terrorist attacks within a span of two days.
Yesterday, a suicide bomber struck the religious gathering of the Shia community in Chakwal district, Punjab province, killing at least 30 people and injuring around 200. This came hours after security personnel were targeted outside the UN office in Islamabad. From the way the blasts have been executed, it is clear that these terrorists are not only interested in scaring people, but also want to cause destruction on a large scale.
Pakistan's President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani will have to take serious steps to flush out the terror camps and bring an end to this widespread havoc.
With the general elections round the corner, the Pakistan blasts are a warning to India as well. India should spruce up its intelligence and security measures so that the elections are held peacefully.u00a0
