<p align="center"><span style="font-size: 8pt"><strong>OFF TRACK:</strong> Commuters staged a rail roko at Borivli last week</span></p></td></tr></tbody></table>This is with reference to the rasta roko at Borivli last Wednesday. <br /><br />Commuters wreaked havoc at Borivli station since trains were diverted to Platform no 7 and 8, which is not easily accessible.<br />u00a0<br />What the Railways can do is construct a new station altogether, which comprises Platform no 7 and 8, and call it Shimpoli. <br /><br />Western Railway (WR) can run trains to both destinations Borivli and Shimpoli. And both these stations can be inter-connected. <br /><br />Commuters living in the south-west region of Borivli can board trains from Shimpoli. <br /><br />This will help reduce commuter traffic and make travelling more comfortable for residents of Borivli. <br /><br />No longer will the railways have to divert trains, as they can start a new services from Platforms 7 and 8.
