N Srinivasan, the controversial leader of the Board of Control for Cricket in India has good reason to feel victorious as the Supreme Court allowed him to resume his duties as president of the cricket establishment yesterday.

The Chennai man was not exactly knocked out of his chair in the last few months, but he was sitting on a shaky piece of furniture, what with the court battle against the Cricket Association of Bihar and a section of the media baying for his blood.
