This paper and this edit space has often highlighted how a large number of persons took the first vaccination dose but for reasons best known to them, and some not valid at all, did not take the second dose at all.
There were several who were scared off, seeing some fever or slight reaction after the first dose and did not report to complete the two-dose vaccination. Some others simply did not go, thinking they had enough protection or that they did not have the time or the wherewithal to access the centres again. There were reports about experts exhorting persons to finish the two vaccines. Statistics showed a yawning gap between those who had taken the first dose and those who had finished both.
