France expressed concern on Friday after Iranian leader Mahmoud Ahmadinejad boasted that his country had developed new nuclear fuel enrichment technology despite international pressure not to do so.

"These are worrying declarations," French foreign ministry spokesman Eric Chevallier told reporters.
