She weighs 8 pounds and I love her so much!&rdquo; If true, Hashtag Jameson is the latest case of parents assigning their newborns with names from the social sphere. In February last year, an Egyptian man named his daughter Facebook in celebration of the January 25 revolution in that country. The social media platform, together with Twitter, was widely praised by Egyptians for their ability to mobilise protesters in their successful efforts to oust leader Hosni Mubarak from power. Celebrities often make headlines for the unique names they give their children.
