The ill-health of Pakistan Railways was highlighted when a train broke down seven times and reached its destination a staggering 35 hours late.
Jaafar Express, which began its journey from Rawalpindi, the twin city of capital Islamabad, reached Quetta at least 35 hours after its scheduled arrival time, Geo News reported. Quetta, the capital city of Balochistan, is 947 km to the southwest of Rawalpindi, the garrison city.
