The dawn of dystopian sci-fi is upon us! If it was not enough for AI to take over most other jobs, it is now possible for artificial intelligence to act and star in movies. Controversies were sparked when AI talent studio Xicoia started boasting about its impressive creation, an actor named Tilly Norwood. Launched by the Dutch technologist Emily Van der Velden as part of her company called Particle 6 Productions, Xicoia specialises in AI acting talent, with Tilly being the company’s first big project.

The creator added in an interview about how they want Tilly to be the next Scarlett Johansson or Natalie Portman. One of the plus points of having AI actresses is the limitless creativity one can explore with them, without worrying too much about budget restrictions.
