Researchers in Sao Paulo, Brazil have created a new product that blends honey from native stingless bees with cocoa bean shells which are rich in theobromine and caffeine.
Instead of using chemical solvents, the team used native bee honey as an edible extraction medium. The mix can be eaten on its own or incorporated into foods and cosmetic formulations.
