London: British police have launched a probe after a 25-year-old Sikh man reported that he was racially abused by a woman on board a train last month, media said.

According to British Transport Police, the incident happened on the 9.23 p.m. train from York to Leeds on August 1 but had only recently been reported by the man whose identity was not revealed, York Press online reported on Thursday.
