Conservative leader takes over reigns from Gordon Brown after the Queen invites him to form the new government

Conservative leader David Cameron on Tuesday night took over as Britain's new Prime Minister after Queen Elizabeth II invited him to form the new government following the resignation of incumbent Gordon Brown.
