China has just unveiled the world’s largest car carrier, capable of transporting up to 10,800 vehicles in a single trip. The vessel is a liquefied natural gas (LNG) dual-fuel car carrier. It was developed by Guangzhou Shipyard International Co Ltd (GSI), a state-owned shipbuilder and a subsidiary of China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC). The company specialises in designing and building large vessels.
