The 58-year-old cardiologist will be sentenced on November 29, and could be sent to prison for up to four years. Members of the Jackson family wept quietly after the guilty verdict was read at Los Angeles Superior Court yesterday. Cries of joy But outside the courtroom, cries of joy erupted among the hundreds of fans who had gathered, singing lyrics to Beat It. There, they greeted Jackson's parents and siblings, who said justice had finally been served. Judge Pastor said Murray's 'reckless conduct' meant he was a danger to the public. Murray's lawyers said they weren't planning to make any official statement after the hearing, but defence attorney Ed Chernoff said he was 'not shocked' at the verdict.
