At least five people were killed and 60 others injured when a suicide attacker rammed his explosive laden vehicle into a police station in the restive northwest Pakistan on Saturday.

The attack occurred in the troubled Bannu district of North West Frontier Province (NWFP) this morning. The blast completely destroyed the police station and created a huge crater. The explosion also damaged many nearby houses and a mosque. The injured were rushed to nearby hospitals.
