Prince Harry receivedu00a0the Atlantic Council’s 2012 Award for Distinguished Humanitarian Leadership in Washington.

Harry accepted the award on behalf of himself and his brother William. Both are officers in the British military. They were honoured for their efforts to help rehabilitate wounded veterans and smooth their transition back to civilian life.
