Indian held in Spain for alleged terror links

Government today said one Indian has been arrested in Spain for alleged links with Al-Qaida, clarifying media reports that four Indians had been held. The arrested Indian has been identified as Jaganjeet Singh, sources said today.

One Indian and 10 Pakistanis were arrested in Barcelona with police looking into the falsification of documents and a possible link to Al-Qaedau00a0


Singh, who was held along with 14 others for allegedly forging papers for Al-Qaida operatives, is being produced before a court in Spain after which the Spanish authorities will give details, they said.
