At least 15 Afghan soldiers were killed and five others wounded in a Taliban attack on a military base in Afghanistan's Kandahar province, official sources said.

A group of insurgents on Thursday night attacked a military base in the Shah Wali Kot district, killing at least 15 soldiers, defense ministry spokesperson Dawlat Waziri told Efe news on Friday.
