Malaysian Prime Minister Abdullah Badawi was trapped inside a lift for half an hour due to jamming of doors at Putrajaya International Convention Centre here, local dailies reported on Friday.

The incident happened yesterday when the premier, along with other VIPs, took the lift for the concourse level of the sprawling complex to attend a Public Service Department (PSD) event.
