<div>Michelle Obama has succeeded in her attempt to break the world record for the most people doing jumping jacks in a 24-hour period.</div><div><br /></div><div>She announced in an email that her October bid succeeded in creating a new record with 300,265 people doing jumping jacks, Politico reported.</div><div><br /></div><div>On October 11, she had led 464 school students to jump continuously for one minute at the lawns in the White House.</div><div><br /></div><div>Between 3 pm that day and 3 pm on October 12, jumpers all over the world took part and broke the old record of 20,425 people.</div><div><br /></div><div>The event was organized by National Geographic Kids magazine and was part of Mrs Obama's 'Lets Move' initiative.u00a0</div>
