Amid escalating Gen Z-led protests in Nepal, the Army arrested 27 individuals for looting, arson, and violence. Security forces recovered NRs 3.37 million in stolen cash, 31 firearms, and ammunition. Authorities extended the nationwide curfew and prohibitory orders to restore peace as violence spread across Kathmandu and Pokhara.

Amid the ongoing protest in Nepal, twenty-seven individuals have been arrested. As per the reports, the individuals arrested were involved in looting, arson, and other violent acts during the ongoing Gen Z-led protests across Nepal. The arrest of the 27 youths was made by the Nepalese Army.
As reported by news agency ANI, the arrests were made between 10 pm on Tuesday and 10 am on Wednesday. With a nationwide deployment of forces to manage the ongoing protests, the authorities in Nepal were trying to take the situation under control. Also, security personnel deployed three fire trucks to extinguish fires set during the unrest.
