Washington: In a fresh attempt to unlock the secrets of the universe, NASA has announced to build a new, wider telescope that will have a view 100 times bigger than that of Hubble Space Telescope.

Called the Wide Field Infrared Survey Telescope (WFIRST), it will help researchers unravel the secrets of dark energy and dark matter and explore the evolution of the universe.
