China has strongly condemned the United States’ (US’) capture of deposed Venezuelan leader Nicolas Maduro and his wife, warning against unilateral coercion and emphasising that no nation has the right to act as the world’s “policeman” or “international judge” amid rising global volatility, news agency ANI reported.

“China always opposes the use or threat of force, as well as any imposition of one country’s will on another,” Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said on Sunday during the Seventh Round of the China-Pakistan Foreign Ministers’ Strategic Dialogue with his Pakistani counterpart Mohammad Ishaq Dar in Beijing.
