Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived in Belarus on Thursday for a two-day visit as part of international tours to kick off his fifth term in office, reported news agency AP. This visit highlights solid ties with a neighbouring ally that has been crucial to Russia's war effort in Ukraine. Putin is scheduled to visit Uzbekistan on Sunday. He visited China earlier this month. The Russian president hosted Bahrain's King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa at Kremlin earlier on Thursday.
