An Indian man was hospitalised after suffering a racist attack on his way home from a night out in Edinburgh.
A 28-year-old Indian man on a night out in Scotland’s city has become the "unprovoked" victim of a racist attack, requiring treatment for facial injuries.
According to police, the Indian was walking with two friends in the west end of Princess Street on early hours of Sunday when a man approached and made racist comments. He then punched the victim, knocking him to the ground, before running off along Princess Street.
