UK variant of COVID-19 has mutated again: Scientists

According to the scientists, although this change may reduce vaccine effectiveness, the current ones in use should still work

Scientists have found that the Kent variant of Covid-19, which has been spreading around the UK, appears to be undergoing some worrying new genetic changes.

The tests on some samples showed a mutation, called E484K, which has already been found in the South Africa and Brazil variants.
