Chicago: The United Airlines has apologised after an Asian doctor was forcibly dragged off an "overbooked" flight as he refused to give up his seat for United Airlines staff.

The airlines said it had to "re-accommodate" the customers on the United flight at Chicago's O'hara International Airport on Sunday night.
