Olesya Mostovschikova attacked Tatiana Romanchuk with an axe while her own seven-year-old son looked on. u00a0 The boy witnessed both the murder and the cooking. The 27-year-old then cooked the victim's body and dined on the meat, before putting the legs in a bin and burying other remains in her garden in the Siberian town of Irkutsk. Mostovschikova allegedly confessed to killing 32-year-old Tatiana, telling police, "I calmly took the axe and hit her a number of times on her head. "Then I cut off her ears, gouged out one eye, cut off an arm and a hand. I then cooked the parts in the oven." Friend forced to eat She went on to describe how, with the help of a friend Julia, she hid Romanchuk's body in the cellar of her home. "Some time later, I went down to the cellar again because Julia said that she was hungry and wanted to eat some more. "We sliced off some more meat and took it upstairs to the kitchen We fried it on the cooker and ate it." Police said the women cut sliced flesh from Romanchuk's buttock, breast and a cheek. Julia has told the police that she felt compelled to ask for the meat because Mostovschikova had threatened to kill and eat her too. u00a0 Police were alerted after neighbours found the victim's legs in a nearby bin. Investigator Vadim Shestakov said, "In Mostovschikova's house we found marks on the floor that looked like blood. Soon after, we found parts of the body in her garden." Mostovschikova faces up to 15 years in prison. Her son has been taken to a children's rehabilitation centre.
