Actor and producer Manasi Parekh recently won the National Film Award for Best Actress. She was honoured for her role in the Gujarati film ‘Kutch Express’ (2023). Manasi admits that the win only sunk in while she was walking on stage at the Vigyan Bhawan. Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s Brahmastra Part One: Shiva achieved significant recognition at the 70th National Awards 2024. On Tuesday, producer Karan Johar and director Ayan Mukerji were honored with the National Film Award for Best Film in AVGC (Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, and Comic). The award was presented by President Droupadi Murmu during a ceremony held at Vigyan Bhawan in the national capital. The film also received awards in several categories: Best Male Playback Singer, awarded to Arijit Singh for the song "Kesariya," Best Film in AVGC, and Best Music Director (Songs), which went to Pritam.
