Despite a three-way clash with Khel Khel Mein and Vedaa, the horror-comedy, Stree 2, earned about Rs 53 crore on its first day. In terms of Bollywood’s biggest openers, Stree 2 now sits in third place, after Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan and Pathaan. To celebrate this significant milestone, the team of the film Stree 2 hosted a success bash last night. The celebrations saw many stars in attendance, including Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon, Veer Pahariya, and others. `Stree 2` cast including Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshaki Khurana recently visited a mall in Gurgaon to promote their horror-comedy. The four were clearly taken away by the outpouring of love they received from the locals. Rajkummar, a Gurgaon boy himself, expressed his joy at being in the city and promoting the film there. He promised that Stree 2 is much bigger and better than Stree 2 and guruanteed that the audience will have fun watching it. Shraddha Kapoor also shared the enthusiasm and said that she will take back Gurgaon`s energy to Mumbai. The film was released in theatres on August 15.
