Mumbai is once again battling relentless monsoon showers. The IMD has issued a 5-day heavy to very heavy rainfall warning for Mumbai, Thane, Palghar, Raigad, and other coastal areas. Mumbai’s traffic chaos might just have caught a break! CM Devendra Fadnavis has inaugurated three key bridges — Reay Road, Titwala, and the much-awaited Gokhale Bridge in Andheri. The Reay Road bridge is Mumbai’s first-ever cable-stayed Road-Over-Bridge, replacing a 1910 British-era structure. The new six-lane bridge is part of MahaRail’s plan to overhaul aging infrastructure. how far will it translate to solving problems for all sections of commuters?
