On September 8, security forces successfully stopped an infiltration attempt in Nowshera, Jammu and Kashmir. During "Operation Kanchi," Indian troops encountered and neutralized two terrorists in the Lam area making it a major milestone. The operation was carried out after the Indian Army received information from intelligence agencies and the J&K Police about the presence of these terrorists. A significant amount of arms and ammunition was recovered from the neutralized terrorists. In Bahraich, UP, there has been a troubling series of attacks by man-eating wolves over the past few months. Despite ongoing efforts in ‘Operation Bhediya’ to capture these dangerous animals, two wolves are still on the loose. This has caused a lot of fear and distress among residents. Recently, on September 2, a five-year-old girl was killed by one of these wolves while she was sleeping with her grandmother. On the same day, another wolf attacked and killed a 2.5-year-old child in Mahsi village. Additionally, two other people were also attacked and killed by wolves that day. The situation remains critical as the wolves continue to pose a severe threat to the community.
