Indian cricketer Kuldeep Yadav received a grand welcome in Kanpur as he returned to his hometown on July 6. Supporters gathered to greet him, and he remarked that the World Cup belongs to the Indian fans even more than to the players.

With two wins out of two matches, both teams will look forward to registering a hat-trick of wins. “I’ve come from Nashik to enjoy the Match. India is going to win and register a hat trick of wins” said a fan. “This is the biggest match of the World Cup. The excitement is at its peak. We consider ourselves lucky to get the tickets,” said Karan, another fan.
