On July 4, PM Modi had a candid conversation with Team India after their T20 World Cup win. He asked Indian captain Rohit Sharma why he ate pitch soil in Barbados. Rohit explained that he wanted to keep the winning memory, as the pitch was significant for their victory. Rohit also shared their hard work and near misses in previous World Cups. PM Modi jokingly inquired about Rohit`s victory ‘Robot-Dance’ while receiving the trophy, asking if it was Chahal’s idea.

Thousands thronged the streets, their spirits high, chanting and waving flags in a frenzy of excitement. The atmosphere turned vibrant with the shared passion for cricket, as jubilant supporters from all walks of life unite in celebration.
