Gandhi highlights that the most surprising and impactful outcome of the Yatra was the introduction of the concept of "love" into Indian politics—a rarity in political discourse globally, where terms like hatred and corruption are more common. This idea of love, which emerged naturally during the Yatra, has positively influenced political communication and interaction. Gandhi is impressed by how well this notion has resonated and worked within the political system.

Congress MP Rahul Gandhi is know for his controversial statements and yet again he is in headlines for a controversial remark. During his Bharat Jodo Yatra in Gwalior on 3rd March, the Congress MP made a derogatory comparison of India with Pakistan. He attacked over PM Modi over unemployment. He said that, India has “double unemployment rate” compared to Pakistan. Shortly after his statement, political slugfest broke out as senior BJP leaders lambasted him for his statement. Calling him a ‘frustrated cat’, BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh asked him to check the stats.  On the other hand, BJP Leader Ravi Shankar called him a “non-serious political leader".
