Two United Airlines Boeing 737 MAX 9 aircraft were involved in a ground collision at San Francisco International Airport (SFO) on September 2, 2025. Flight 1871 to Denver struck the tail of Flight 796, which was bound for Boston. Both flights were cancelled, leading to major delays for passengers.
