Flight operations at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport were thrown into chaos after employees of AI Airport Services Limited launched a strike, severely disrupting baggage handling, boarding and aircraft turnaround services. Passengers arriving on Air India flights reportedly remained stranded inside aircraft for nearly an hour, while baggage reclaim areas saw huge crowds and long delays. Viral videos from inside grounded aircraft showed frustrated passengers waiting without updates.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Sweden as part of his six-nation Europe-West Asia tour, receiving a grand cultural welcome and Sweden’s highest honour — the Royal Order of Polar Star.
