In a dramatic turn in the Indore couple missing case, Sonam Raghuvanshi’s father, Devi Singh, has accused the Meghalaya government and police of misleading the public and demanded a CBI inquiry. Claiming his daughter is innocent and incapable of harming her husband, Singh said Sonam reached Ghazipur on her own and was not arrested in Meghalaya, as authorities had claimed. He alleged that the entire local police station is corrupt and would be exposed if a central investigation is launched. Singh now plans to escalate the matter to the Madhya Pradesh CM and Union Home Minister Amit Shah to push for a fair probe.

From the heart of Jammu and Kashmir, Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi issued a strong warning to Pakistan, accusing it of orchestrating a conspiracy to incite riots in India. Addressing a public gathering, PM Modi said that the neighbouring country had been continuously attempting to destabilise peace through planned unrest, but asserted that such tactics would not be tolerated. He emphasised that the people of India are united and aware, and any external attempts to spread chaos will be met with a firm response.
