The roka ceremony of Aadar Jain—the grandson of the late Raj Kapoor, son of Rima and Manoj Jain and the paternal cousin of Kareena Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor—with fiancée Alekha Advani was held over the weekend. The intimate gathering was attended by close family members from both the bride and groom`s sides, including prominent figures from the Kapoor family such as Kareena Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, Babita Kapoor, and Randhir Kapoor. Alia Bhatt was unable to attend due to professional commitments. The ceremony evening also saw a minor mishap when Karisma Kapoor tripped, but it didn`t dampen the joyful spirit of the occasion. Aadar looked regal in a cream-embroidered sherwani with matching trousers, while Alekha dazzled in a white sari and pearl-embellished blouse.

Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant`s wedding took place on July 12 at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre in Mumbai. Food options ranged from traditional Chaat to Kesar Tea and Lassi, reflecting Banaras` flavours from Kaashi Chaat Bhandaar.
