Vice President J.D. Vance is facing growing backlash after refusing to apologize for resharing controversial claims tied to the fatal shooting of Alex Pretti, a 37-year-old ICU nurse from Minneapolis who was killed during a federal immigration enforcement operation. The controversy escalated after White House aide Stephen Miller publicly labeled Pretti a “would-be assassin”, alleging he attempted to kill federal agents. Vice President Vance reshared the post and when asked in an interview whether he would apologize to Pretti’s family, he responded bluntly: “For what?” adding that it would be wrong to “prejudge the investigation”. Newly released documents, sealed evidence, and a disturbing handwritten diary are reshaping what the world thought it knew about one of the most infamous criminal networks in modern history. Following the passage of the Epstein Files Transparency Act, millions of pages of DOJ records, videos and sealed materials are now coming into public view, revealing allegations that investigators themselves describe as deeply disturbing. At the center of the revelations is a diary allegedly written by a teenage victim in 2002. The handwritten account describes being treated as a “human incubator,” detailing a pregnancy under Epstein’s control and a birth followed by the immediate removal of the child. The diary reportedly includes a 20-week ultrasound image, now part of the evidence record, a silent witness to what investigators are calling one of the most disturbing personal testimonies in the entire case.
