Ganesh Chaturthi 2024: Mumbai's most iconic and historic Ganpati Pandal, 'Lalbaugcha Raja,' has been ruling the city since the early 1930s, when local devotees created the first idol. Over the years, it has evolved from a modest offering into one of Mumbai's most revered Ganesh idols. Many Bollywood stars, including Vicky Kaushal, Kartik Aaryan, Varun Dhawan, Sunny Leone, Randeep Hooda, and Shilpa Shetty, have already made a visit to Lalbaugcha Raja this year. Even the richest man in India, business tycoon Mukesh Ambani, with his entire family, visited the pandal for Darshan.

Salman Khan recently visited Chief Minister Eknath Shinde’s residence to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi. The Bollywood superstar performed a special Ganesh Puja at the Maharashtra CM's home, accompanied by his sister, Arpita Khan. Photos shared by the Chief Minister on Instagram captured Salman praying before the idol of Lord Ganesha. Other celebrities, including Asha Bhosle, Shilpa Shetty, Suniel Shetty, Sonakshi Sinha, Sanjay Dutt, and Disha Patani, also made appearances at Shinde’s house 'Varsha' to seek blessings from Bappa. Kartik Aaryan has organised a Ganpati Puja at his Mumbai residence this year. On September 12, several celebrities were spotted turning up at Kartik's house for darshan. Bhumi Pednekar, Bhushan Kumar, Dhanashree Verma, and Sreeleela visited the 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2' actor. This year’s Lalbaug Cha Raja is as grand as each year. This is the 91st year of the utsav mandal and the murti has been sculpted by Mr. Ratnakar Madhusudan Kambli of Kambli Arts who has been sculpting the idol since 2002. The Kambli clan has been sculpting the Lalbagh Cha Raja murti for nearly 90 years.
